Project management and control software
To control and manage projects, use two software:
Microsoft Project Manager
Spring
is used. Both of the above programs use the concept of the Critical Path Method (CPM) to manage projects and have the ability to display project activities in the form of a Grant Chart or Pert Chart. Primavera software is mostly used for projects related to the oil and petrochemical industries.
The capabilities of these programs in project control and management include:
Finding the project's path and critical activities
Calculating the free time for each activity
Possibility to update the schedule based on the amount of activities performed
Possibility to change the schedule to accelerate the completion of the project
Adjusting and planning for the use of financial resources and other resources needed by the project during its implementation.
Considering different resource limitations in project planning
